Smart Digital Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 98 643 303 815), trading as SMART Digital Consulting, is a paid media consultancy based in Brisbane, Queensland. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Smart Digital Consulting Pty Ltd. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you request an audit or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, work email, website address and monthly ad spend range, plus anything you write in an email.
When you visit this website, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager collect information about your visit using cookies and similar technology. This includes pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This information does not identify you by name.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare your audit or proposal.
- To deliver services if you become a client.
- To understand how people use this website and improve it, including measuring which advertising brings enquiries.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and our business:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives audit form submissions.
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Workspace) provides website analytics and our business email.
These providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what each provider needs to perform its service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access is limited to Essen Tsou, and accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-step verification. We delete enquiry details we no longer need.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing essen.t@smartdigitalconsulting.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
